Mark Goldstein

Venture Builder

Mark has been a Builders' Managing Partner and now oversees the Venture Builders Studio and aims to incubate and launch a few amazing new Builders’ funded companies with a handful of great first time founders changing the status quo in health and wellness.

The Builders VentureStudio is open to hearing any great super early-stage big TAM idea in health and wellness that is disruptive, leverages gen AI and analytics and has the opportunity to displace a large incumbent legacy firm. It can be patient, provider or payer focused and/or be consumer direct or enterprise.

The first project coming out of the studio is Great Gums. Great Gums was lead-funded by Builders, incorporated in 2024 and aims to make people rethink the toothbrush and transform oral care.

Mark got his start as a full-time operator – co-founding and selling a dozen fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, retail, green tech, online gaming, and music ventures over the past 30 years. More recently he shifted from being a solo entrepreneur or more of a coach/co-founder to other entrepreneurs. Over his career, he has made over 125 angel and institutional investments, either personally, via his Advisors Fund LLC, or via Efficient Capacity LLC, where he was Managing Partner.

Mark is also the Founder and Chairman of The Digital Health Hub Foundation, a not-for-profit healthcare and wellness innovation hub that helps healthcare companies scale and grow and produces the annual Digital Health Hub Foundation Awards at the HLTH Conference. Now in its seventh year, it's the world's biggest awards event in healthcare. The Builders Venture Studio leans into its relationship with the Digital Health Hub Foundation, the HLTH annual trade show and close relationships with the largest healthcare providers in the USA.

Mark also previously was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Softbank and then at NEA and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and where he has served on its Board of Overseers. Mark is currently a Director of a number of Builder's investments including mental health provider Neuroflow and Mexico City-based telehealth provider Diagnostikare.
